Background Info:
Twice is a 9 member girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. Twice members were selected through a survival show called SIXTEEN. They debuted with the single Like OOH-AHH from the EP The Story Begins on October 20, 2015. Then-trainees at JYPE can be seen in the background of the music video, including Stray Kids’ Bang Chan.
Twice are among the most popular K-Pop groups in the genre’s history, steadily rising to the top of Korea’s popularity and sales charts throughout their career. The group became the best selling Korean girl-group of all time in 2019. They’ve even been given the title of “Nation’s Girl Group” by multiple news outlets and variety shows, according to K-Pop news site Koreaboo.
