GOT7 (갓세븐) Profile
GOT7 is a 7-member boy group, formed by JYP Entertainment. They debuted in January of 2014 with the promoted single Girls, Girls, Girls, the video for which featured some female JYPE trainees, including Nayeon and Jeongyeon who would debut with Twice.
The group began as the smaller group JJ Project, consisting of members JB and Jinyoung (then known under the stage name Junior) who debuted as actors in 2012, as the other members were still in training. GOT7 are known for their international fame, having a bigger audience in the West, China, and Thailand due to members Mark, Jackson, and BamBam’s origins in those regions.
They’re also known for having a fair amount of creative input on their songs, each member being credited for writing and/or composing on many songs throughout their discography.
